A Warm Welcome to Kircha

When you visit the Kircherwirt, you don’t just enter an inn – you arrive at a place rich in history, full of heartfelt hospitality, where guests are welcomed like old friends.

The Kircherwirt has been a place of rest and meeting since 1360 – once for pilgrims and traders, today for guests from all over the world.
Since 1915, it has been lovingly run by the Hintner family – now in its fourth generation. With a strong sense of tradition and the courage to embrace change, the guesthouse has grown into a home that evolves without losing its roots.

Today, Maria and her children Monika, Johanna, and Stefan carry the house forward – having embraced the future with modern holiday apartments.

What remains: true warmth, a sense of home – and the promise to welcome every guest like a friend.

Who we are

Maria

The boss, the chef, and the soul of the house. She keeps everything running – with a smile and an open ear for all. Her personal touch? You can feel it in every corner of the house.

Monika

The oldest daughter – a source of calm, a hero at any time, and an expert in herbs. While she works in elder care, she’s always ready to lend a hand when needed. Her quiet strength? Invaluable.

Johanna

Our queen of service with true barista flair. Always cheerful, fast on her feet, and full of charm – she serves more than just coffee, she serves an experience.

Stefan

A multi-talented man with a great sense of humor: massage therapist, beautician, room expert, laundry magician – and on top of that, the guy for bookkeeping and jokes.
